Pura Americana

Caitlin holding up the IDs that saved us from going to Panamanian Jail.
(Apparently if you don't have some sort of ID on you in Panama, they can take you to jail if you don't pay them)

A potential "wedding dress" for wedding #3!

My favorite of Chelsea's Top Model poses.

Trying to be fierce. I think Fabio's cute lil face in the background takes away from it though:)

A mix of very traditional Panama with the new.

The Panama City Skyline...it's pretty stunning. And there are only a bit more than 3 million people in the whole country. Panama City is considered to be the New York of Central America.

"Casco Antiguo" is where the President lives. It's the old downtown of Panama City. It was really interesting to see the difference in the buildings. There were some really old run-down buildings right next to newly renovated sites.

Cait and Chels walking up to see the skyline.

A huge scary bird that scared the crap out of all of us.

The four travelers (notice the matching shirts)

Panamanian elections are coming up in May. One of the primary candidates is the guy pictured below, nicknamed "el loco" (the crazy one) due to being diagnosed with schitzofrenia. The other candidate is said to have knowingly housed the former dictator of Panama (Noriega-a serious drug trafficking bad guy) while he was fleeing from the US Governement. Good luck with that decision Panama.

A beautiful church with the alter made of pure gold.

Just a couple more pics of the skyline.
