How To...

My second graders had a short writing assignment today where they had to describe "How To" do, be or make something. Here are a few of my favorites (spelling and grammar mistakes included--notice the different levels):

How to make a ice cream: First you get a cone then you put ice cream like chocolate and then givet ta the person.

How to make a pizza: To make a pizza you should have the ingridients. The ingridients are: doe, ham, cheese, tomato sauce and a good oven to make it. You can make it with olives, mushrooms and salami. Careful some salamies are spicy! With the doe make a flat circle and before you should put flower on the space you're doing it so the doe doesn't get stuck. Then put tomato sauce on then the ham and cheese. Then put it in the oven for like 15 minutes and then it's all done. Just don't forget a drink!

How to be a good friend: 1) You need to be nice with she or he. 2) You need to be with she or he. 3) You need to support she or he in the good times or in the bad times. 4) If she or he falls down you will help her stand up. 5) You will play with he or she. 6) Be a good friend. I do that when I want to have a friend.

How to be a ninja: Lesson number one. When you hit a thing you need to scream ah! Leson number tou you need to know how to transport place to place to place. Finaly you can be a ninja.

How to be a agent: Hellow you want to be a agent we have all necessary. You only need to call at 250337 to have all. Selefon, cloud, arms, shoes, kitskies, and a laser. (****note, I'm not sure what he means here) We are in U.S., CR and Erope. We are waiting for you.

(And here's my very favorite)
How to be Ms. Lund: To be Ms. lund first you neet to be a teacher. scond, smailing like every 2 minutes. You neet to have blond hair. Be happy. And be sometimes craizy. And that's how to be Ms. Lund
